All About What Is Intimacy?

What Is Intimacy? was birthed out of the recovery work of founder, Rob Gion, Jr. Rob is an ordained pastor who came to understand that he had an "intimacy disorder" and began a process of learning for himself what intimacy is - which was much different than he thought. After reading many books, significant counseling work, and participating with addiction recovery ministry, Rob launched this ministry.

The ministry is a Christian, Christ-centered ministry that believes that God is ultimately looking for intimacy with his people. God also desires us to have both an intimate relationship with him and with others he has put in our lives.

Now, in addition to Rob's volunteer work with FirstLight ministries in St. Louis, MO, Rob preaches and teaches on the subject of intimacy. The ministry provides full day seminars (currently for men only) to teach guys about intimacy (including what women wished guy's knew), and Rob also preaches at churches and other ministry gatherings providing gospel centered messages related to intimacy.

Rob's book, Redefining Intimacy, is undergoing its final editing and will be published in August. Once published, the book will be available for purchase from our site as well.
